The Salon Alternative brings the hair salon right to your home. Based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Kate offers cuts for women, men and children, as well as permanent and semi-permanent colour, foils, styling and bridal styling.

My experience in the hairdressing industry spans over 20 years. I moved to Sydney when I was 17 from my tiny hometown of Eugowra in Central West New South Wales to the breathtaking Northern Beaches. I began an apprenticeship at Cassidy's in Freshwater, and this where I stayed for over a decade. During this time I had the opportunity to study with some of Australia's top hairdressers including Sharon Blain, Dario Controneo, Josie Morgan and Shane Henning to name just a few. I also was lucky enough to undertake intense training in cutting and colouring at the Toni and Guy, Goldwell and Tigi academies.
